Reflective’s mission is to equip the world with the data and tools needed to make timely, informed decisions about stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI). In support of that mission, this two-part RFP seeks proposals to develop understanding of the interaction of SAI with (1) earth system tipping points, and (2) climate impacts.

The IPCC’s 7th Assessment Report is in preparation and will consider literature submitted by the end of March 2027. Its assessment of SAI will shape the field for years to come. This RFP is intended to expand the evidence base by supporting fast-paced research that can be completed – and submitted for publication – within this timeline.
